- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp cornflour (mixed with 2 tbsp water for slurry)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Spring onion greens for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Vegetable Balls
- In a large bowl, mix cabbage, carrot, capsicum, spring onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic.
- Add cornflour, all-purpose flour, and salt. Mix well. The moisture from the veggies helps bind the mixture. Do not add water.
- Shape the mixture into small balls.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the balls on medium heat until golden brown and crisp.
